         There is an aspect of my painful bridge of my nose I had been overlooking.  When I wear my hoodie, my headlamp does not stay in place, especially when I am using the headlamp while packing up my work gear.  The headlamp rides lower and lower down  my forehead until it rests on the sore spot on the bridge of my nose.  Which, of course ( Read more... )

         Beyond my problem with my battery charger not charging, I also have a hard disk problem.  Back  a month or so ago, I received the warning below several times a week.  Now I get the message several times each day.  More and more frequent each day.  I know from past experience that starting the backup process is utter disaster.  So I just ( Read more... )

         Ever since last 21 August, Windows has been telling me my power supply is not charging up my battery.  Battery power slowly diminishes over time.  Battery is now down to 81%.  So I still have a ways to go before disaster comes knocking on my door.

         I have two gateways to the internet.  Both WiFi.  There is Voodoo Zombi which I pay for, and LinkSys which is free.   Both are augmented by the hanging scrotum of WiFi interconnectivity, which came with paying for Voodoo Zombi.  Voodoo Zombi is a very inefficient connection (less than 1/2% efficiency) while LinkSys has over 2% efficiency ( Read more... )

         My internet connection is very very strange.  If I use VooDoo Zombi the connection is ratty.  I can't play my Shoutcast radio on WinAmp for protracted lengths of time.  I can't watch youtube videos in real time.  I have to D/L the video and watch it later.  Again and again and AGAIN I need to click on the FQWIFI log in screen, again and ( Read more... )
